Training Course: “Digital Dynamics: Empowering Youth Workers in the Digital Age”, 15-23 September, 2025, Saulkrasti, Latvia
This project brought together 31 youth workers from across Europe to strengthen their digital competencies and explore innovative ways to use technology in youth work. Participants came from Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Türkiye.
The training course focused on enhancing digital literacy, promoting safe and responsible online engagement, and integrating digital tools into everyday youth work activities. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and practical sessions, participants learned how to create inclusive digital environments, improve communication with young people, and design engaging learning experiences.
A key outcome of the project is an open-source guide for digital youth work, which is currently in development. It will be published on Notion, SALTO, the Erasmus+ Results Platform, and the Youth Line Family social media channels, as well as on our Instagram and website, to share knowledge and good practices from the project.
By the end of the course, participants had gained new digital skills, teamwork experience, and confidence in applying technology creatively and ethically. The project fostered innovation, collaboration, and inclusion among youth workers, building stronger connections across Europe’s youth work community.
This project is co-funded by the Erasmus Plus program of the European Union.
