About us
The youth association “TDM Portugal” was established in 2015 as part of the “TDM 2000 International Network”, which was formed in 2008 to promote collaborative efforts among youth organizations across Europe. Over the years, the network has expanded to include 30 organizations from 23 countries. Its initiatives cover Education and Training for Capacity Building, International Cooperation for Development, and Mobility for Intercultural Learning.
Initially focused on organizing Erasmus Plus projects and local youth events, “TDM Portugal” experienced a period of reduced activity after 2017, with its involvement limited to the KA2 Erasmus Sport project.
However, a significant revitalization occurred in 2021, marked by a dynamic team and the relocation of its headquarters to Figueira da Foz. The organization has refocused its efforts on supporting migrants and refugees from Ukraine, launching two KA1 projects currently in preparation. “TDM Portugal” has also expanded its impact through partnerships in various Erasmus Plus initiatives.
Our mission centers on promoting social inclusion for migrants, integrating sports events, and leveraging digital technology to enhance NGO management. These pillars guide our actions as we aim to build a more inclusive and interconnected community, empowering individuals and driving positive change.
Additionally, “TDM Portugal” proudly collaborates with the European Parliament, reflecting our commitment to active participation, inclusion, and nurturing youth entrepreneurship.
